Heir to the Throne

The avengers are in the tower when a breaking news report interrupts the TV "Violence in the streets as the gangs, The Blind Cobras and The Bronze Daggers take to the street, these two gangs were originally thought of as on peaceful terms but all out war seems to have started in Downtown New York. More news as it developes, stay tuned"

Trent walks into the main living room of the penthouse, hearing the broadcast on the news. He watched for a few seconds, and then headed down the hall to get Jacob, Chris, and whoever else wasn't already in the living room

The news kept developing "We have reports of a third gang also getting into the fight, sister gang to the Blind Cobras, the Broken Scorpion, has now turned on their old ally and is attacking them. We haven't seen this large scale of a fight in about half a decade, this is sporadic and this is just the start!"

Chris was watching the news in his room, he walked into the main room after a while in regular clothes. A long sleeve tee and jeans, he figured he wouldn't need anything more if it was only gangs being dealt with.

The news reporter continued "Hang on, we're now getting news that previous kingpin, Vincent Cavallo had past at the age of 65, it appears that despite uniting them all in his life, they're now trying to take his position. We should see bloodshed throughout the day if that's the case, that position is as valuable as it gets, puts not only you on top but your gang which is most of these peoples family. We advise everyone stays inside, do not answer your door and make sure to lock those doors, again, more as the news comes"

Outside the window of the tower, they could see some fighting going on, people with guns and knives fighting on the streets in front of them

Chris walked calmly back to his room and put on his black and red protective combat suit before starting to leave.

Juniper entered the room wordlessly, scanning the thoughts of Trent and Chris to understand what was going on before walking to the window, staring out at the scene unfolding beneath her.  Animals, she thought to herself.  They're acting like animals.  Wordlessly, she began to get ready, as well, grabbing her bulletproof jacket and holstering her glock and gun.
